Sri Jaya Supermarket ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, order by phone or WhatsApp, or visit this website, and how we use it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

1. What we collect

• Order details: your name, phone number, delivery address and the items you order.
• Payment details: the mode of payment and transaction reference. We do not store card numbers, UPI PINs or Pluxee card details. These are handled by your bank or payment app.
• Messages: anything you send us on phone, WhatsApp or in person about your order.

This website does not have accounts, sign-up forms or online payment. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on it.

2. How we use it

• To prepare, bill and deliver your order.
• To contact you about your order, substitutions or delivery.
• To handle returns, refunds and complaints.
• To keep billing and tax records as required by law.

We will only send you offers or updates if you ask us to, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed:

• With our delivery staff, so they can reach you.
• With banks and payment providers to complete payments.
• With Rodeo, the platform that runs our online shopping app, when you order through the app. Rodeo handles that data under its own privacy policy.
• With government authorities when required by law.

4. Third-party services on this website

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts and shows a map from Google Maps. When your browser loads these, Google may receive your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. Links to WhatsApp and Google open those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Customer reviews shown on our home page are taken from public online review platforms such as Google and magicpin, including the reviewer's public name. If you wrote one of these reviews and want it removed from our site, contact us and we will remove it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Delivery addresses and phone numbers are kept while you continue ordering from us. You can ask us to delete them at any time, except where we must keep them by law.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete your information, where the law allows,
• stop contacting you.

7. Security

We limit access to customer information to staff who need it to handle orders, and take reasonable care to keep it safe.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without a parent or guardian.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
